The upcoming menu is our annual 100 mile dinner. Every bit of everything to be ingested and enjoyed by our guests must be found with in a 100 mile radius. Intimidating to say the least.

After watching you on several episodes of Iron Chef America and watching you make amazing-looking desserts out of unexpected ingredients, I stumbled across your blog. I have to say, I'm really enjoying it. I'm a writer who has always loved helping out in the kitchen and culinary roots run in the family--my cousin was executive chef at Jean Georges before moving abroad. But your writing has definitely inspired me to expand my horizons from cakes and cookies to perhaps something more imaginative.
